FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Welcome to our FAQ section.

Here you will find a series of questions that are frequently asked by our clients, covering topics including service usage, business hours, prices, and more.

  • What methods can I use for payment?
We accept bank transfers and payment by Revolut. This can be set up with your therapist or alternatively can be set up with the Evolve Admin team. We also accept cash payments however, please note we currently do not accept credit/debit card payments.
  • How is my privacy protected?
One of the key fundamentals of counselling and psychotherapy at Evolve is maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of our clients and in that regard maintaining trust and client autonomy. The protection of confidentiality ultimately protects sensitive client information. Limited confidentiality does apply in counselling and psychotherapy where there is a danger to the client or others, this does not infer an ethical breach of confidentiality, as limited confidentiality will be discussed at the contracting stage with all clients.
  • How long are the sessions?
Standard sessions with Evolve Mental Health last for 50 minutes.
  • What are your opening hours?
Evolve Mental Health operates from Monday – Friday weekly between the hours of 9.00am – 9.00pm.
  • How many sessions will I need?
Initially we recommend 1-2 sessions for consultation/assessment. Following this it can really depend upon client progress and what our clients individual needs are. Typically working from a CBT brief intervention model this would entail 6-8 sessions.
  • How quickly can I book an appointment with a professional?
Booking wait times can generally depend on therapist availability, however - after making contact, if a therapist is currently unavailable you will be put on a waiting list and be given an appointment as soon as possible. At Evolve we believe early intervention to be crucial in combating mental health difficulties and we understand the importance of getting help early. Please note: As Evolve Mental Health is not an urgent care service and operates during business hours only, there are other supports available and at hand. If you or someone you know is feeling suicidal or at immediate risk, please call 999 or 112 or attend your local accident and emergency department.
