SERVICES & FEES
ONE-TO-ONE COUNSELLING
FEE: €60 PER SESSION
STUDENT RATE: €40 PER SESSION
One to one counselling consists of a 50-minute session between the client and therapist. This will aid the client in better understanding themselves and having their story heard. The client will also learn ways to tackle and combat significant issues that they may be facing. Here at Evolve Mental Health, we are CBT led and informed for our therapeutic services. We believe CBT to be one of the most effective methods of dealing with a variety of mental health difficulties.
At Evolve, we also understand that best practice guidelines show that throughout the therapeutic experience it can be common to find that one method does not fit all. Although we are CBT led, we can tailor our therapeutic services to the client's requirements based upon their personal needs and preferences and also based upon how the client is progressing.
ONLINE THERAPY
Online Therapy with Evolve is very much the same as therapy in person in regards to what a session entails with the duration of sessions also being the same (50 mins). Online therapy allows you the client to speak with a mental health professional who can support you and listen to you, from the comfort of your own home, car, or wherever you feel is a comfortable safe space to carry out a session by means of video call or audio call.
If availing of therapy online - online sessions are carried out using Google Meet. Confidentiality and protection of client information is fully protected. Google Meet takes advantage of Google Cloud's secure-by-design infrastructure to help protect your data and safeguard your privacy. All data in Google Meet is encrypted in transit by default between the client and Google for video meetings on a web browser, on the Meet Android and Apple® iOS® apps, and in meeting rooms with Google meeting room hardware.
A link for your session will be sent out to you by your assigned Evolve therapist.

Cancellation Policy
At Evolve Mental Health we have a 24-hour minimum cancellation policy - meaning if you cannot make your appointment, you are required to contact us and advise us of this within the minimum 24-hour period prior to your appointment. This policy is in place so we can make your allocated time slot available to another client whom this time may suit due to appointments being in high demand.
Due to this policy playing such a significant role in best service delivery for all our clients, unfortunately, if we are not given a full 24 hours’ notice you will be required to pay the session fee. Please be advised, similarly - if you do not show up to your scheduled appointment without notice provided within the 24-hour timeframe, you will also incur the same fee.
Naturally, in the event of extenuating circumstances - where discussed with your therapist or with our administration staff, the fee will be waived meaning there will be no fee incurred at this time.

ABOUT CBT
Here at Evolve Mental Health, we are CBT led and CBT informed to produce the best therapeutic environment for you.
CBT or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a form of therapy that can help people find new ways to feel & behave by changing their thought patterns. CBT works on the basis that the way we perceive the world affects how we behave and how we feel. CBT aims to help people become aware of when they make negative interpretations and of behavioural patterns which reinforce distorted thinking. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helps people develop alternative ways of thinking and behaving which aims to reduce their psychological distress.
The APA (American Psychological Association) note that CBT is based on a number of beliefs, including the following:
-
Unhelpful ways that people think can lead to psychological problems.
-
If people learn unhelpful behaviour, this, too, can lead to psychological issues.
-
People can learn more beneficial ways of thinking and behaving.
-
New habits can relieve symptoms of mental and physical conditions and allow people to act in better ways.
